how can i be homesick...

for a place i've only been once?

i'm not really sure.
but i dream of new york often.

and especially on rainy days like today,
i ache to go back.

maybe next time i'll stay a while.

posts from last year's NY trip : here, here, and here.

  1. Wow. I know what it's like. I feel the exact same way right now. I was a bit skeptical about NYC before but after seeing it for myself a couple of months ago, I have fallen head over heels for it and have been dreaming to hop on that Manhattan-bound bus a little too often.

    Hang in there. Someday!

And I adore New York, too. There's no city in the world like it.

  11. It's so funny because New York was the LAST place I ever wanted to live and now here I am, living in NYC, and completely loving it. There's something about this place, huh?
