with all the beautiful ornaments my grandma has made us over the years.
toby watched from around the tree (and under the tree a little bit, too)
nolan sipped on homemade horchata,
and pop donned his nerdy magnifying glasses
like he does every year to fix the ornament strings that have broken.
it just wouldn't be christmastime without these things.
we had planned on having nice family pictures taken this afternoon for the first time in years, but we got rained out.this resulted in an impromptu photo shoot tonight, that somehow ended up revolving around toby...
i mean how could it not, though. he's definitely the cutest out of all of us.
obviously he was thrilled.
these are wonderful! how fun and exciting :)

ReplyDeletethank you so much, jessica! always enjoy your pictures too! ::)
DeleteDecorating the tree is one of my favorite Christmas activities, too. We only just got our tree from Michigan on Saturday, so it's still sitting outside.
ReplyDeleteDoes Toby sleep with his bone? My dog Chase does all the time. Sometimes he falls asleep with it still inside his mouth. xD
he likes to fall asleep on top of his toys like a little pillow! but he will lay on his back and hold his bone with his two paws and it's the cutest thing. :) chase sounds adorable! what kind of dog is he?
DeleteHe's a border collie! Three years old. Here's a picture of him when he fell asleep while chewing my bedside table: http://bit.ly/RAaODN

ReplyDeletegrandmas are the best! i can't believe how intricate some of the ornaments are! every year my grandma will give us a few more angels or snowflakes and every year she says "this is the last year..." but so far we've been lucky and they keep coming. :)
