as much as i enjoyed my little stint as a wedding photographer, it's time for me to focus on other things. the pressure and the workload that come with a wedding are too intense to manage while also going to school full time and pursuing a completely different career. something was going to have to give, so i decided that it would be this.

i will really miss it, but i'm so glad i had the opportunity to spend time with such great couples. i learned countless things from the people i shot with and the people i shot for - lessons i will remember for the rest of my life.
i'm still booking portrait jobs when they come up...
but i'm looking forward to just attending weddings as a guest from now on. :)
good memories though.
really good memories.
i'm so thankful.
I really like the bracelet in that last photo. It's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteisn't it?! i don't know if you can tell when the picture so small, but it's engraved with 'mrs. dedes' :) so sweet!
DeleteWhat career are you pursuing now? I completely support you, your decision, and your happiness. Just so you know, your photography is perfection, and if you ever get back into the wedding business, I've claimed dibs!
ReplyDeleteKristin :)
you're too kind kristin - thanks so much for your encouragement! i'm working my way into the classroom - eventually i want to teach, so for now while i'm going to school, i'm going to be working as a teacher's assistant. getting my feet wet, as they say. :)
