an almost post.

since starting my new job and working my way through the end of the winter semester, i have made a conscious effort not to bombard you with pictures and posts about these two parts of my life. although iiii enjoy them, i can't imagine the they'd be too fun for anyone else to read about
(minus a few funny preschool quotes here and there, of course!)

however, since these are the things that have been taking up ALL of my time nowadays, this blog has been a little empty and neglected.

i was anxiously awaiting the end of the winter semester, hoping that this sudden burst of evening free time would launch me back into the world of doing semi-interesting things, having mini adventures, and later sharing them with you!

weston and i even had plans to spend a belated valentines day in la this past weekend but alas. a (dull) stroke of fate knocked me back into the hospital over the weekend and once again i find myself with nothing interesting to share.

unless you want to read about all the stuff i've been watching on netflix...

the one good thing about all this nonsense is that i've had a real abundance of time to play with my valentines gift, which weston surprised me with last thursday. i hadn't thought i'd get to see him at all on valentines day so i was super surprised when he showed up during my lunch break, gift in hand.

what a sneaky guy. :)

it was really fun to show him around the school and give him a better idea about what it is that i do all day. i even dragged him into the teacher's lounge to meet some of my coworkers, which he was a great sport about haha.

hope you all had a fabulous weekend and i will see you soon with a real post, real pictures,
and gosh darn it - it's gonna be interesting!
(well.. at least as interesting as it gets over here. haha)

thanks for stickin' with me 'til then.

  1. Sorry to hear you were in the hospital. Hope you're feeling better now. What are some of your Netflix picks? We're onto House of Cards right now.

  2. I'd still be interested in reading about your job and schooling! I'm sorry you were back in the hospital, though; that place is never fun. But it sounds like you were out quickly, so that's good! (Although I'm sure you're still recovering.) And if you happen to want a Netflix suggestion, Arrested Development is pretty darn funny. :)

    1. i'll have to give arrested development another go, i think. i tried a few episodes years ago and didn't enjoy them too much but i feel like i hear great things about it all the time so maybe i just wasn't appreciating it enough haha. i'll let you know how attempt #2 goes! thanks!

  4. Oh, Kelle. Sorry to hear you were sick... (how many times did you watch Game of Thrones eh?). All my best wishes to you & Weston. It seems like he's a true latino gentleman, isn't it? I feel he'll always know how to make you some lemonade out of life's lemons. Now, recover your strengths and come back soon, your fans -we- will be waiting for you as long as it takes.

PS: the preschool post was hilarious.
